Travel Information

The Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center is located at 326 Galvez Street, at the intersection of Campus Drive and Galvez Street on the Stanford University campus.

Public Transportation

Caltrain is a commuter rail service that runs between Gilroy and San Francisco and the stop closest to Stanford Campus is the Palo Alto station. It is a 50 minute ride to San Francisco from Palo Alto. Phone: 800.660.4287.

The free Stanford shuttle, called the Marguerite, meets most trains at the Palo Alto Transit Center, 6:00 a.m. - 7: 45 p.m., Monday through Friday. Guests staying at the Sheraton or Westin Palo Alto can also access the shuttle at the transit center, located next to the hotel’s parking lot. Take Line Y (clockwise) which is available 6:10 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., every 15 minutes. Exit the Marguerite at the Visitor Center/Track House stop across Campus Drive from the Arrillaga Alumni Center.

We have reserved a small block of rooms at the Sheraton Hotel in Palo Alto. Rooms are available until Monday August 29, 2022 or until filled, whichever comes first. Stanford’s free Marguerite shuttle picks up adjacent to the Sheraton/Westin and drops off across the street from the conference venue. The venue is roughly a 20 minute walk from the hotel.
